libfann2 software package provides Fast Artificial Neural Network Library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfann2
libfann2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfann2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfann2 *
You will get with libfann2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
